This summer has been a crazy one. It started off that Gretchen (my older sister) came to visit us in Germany. It was fun, but short lived because we had to leave to Rochester, New York. From there I did an awesome basketball camp at the college St. John Fisher and picked up a few new tricks. I also had a 21 day outward bound course in North Carolina it was hard but I finished it and did a 7 mile run at the end and got first place out of all the girls and top ten out of all the runners (about 80). Any who, it was a great experience and I learn a lot through climbing up 250 ft. of rock, hiking up treacherous, slippery mountains with a 60 lb. pack on my back and canoeing down class three rapids. I survived it all. Then after the long plane flight back, after getting my flight cancelled because of weather, then getting a flight to Buffalo and hitchhiking a ride back, with a generous lady (all of this with a dead phone, and having to call the operator for my Grandparents home number, talk about embarrassing). I survived to write this blog.
Well I've rested for a week, shopped, did a water hike with my cousins and watched Despicable Me ( good movie). I think its time to sign off and start finding some pictures to go along with my Epic adventures!
